Sage essential oil is extracted from the leaves and the flowers of the Salvia Officinale plant, through a steam distillation process. This oil has an intense, aromatic but sweet smell. In cosmetics, it is used to regulate sweat or is commonly found in products that treat oily skin, acne or to purify the scalp. It also seems to help with menstrual cramps.
Cosmetic Use: add a few drops of essential oil in another vegetable oil (ex. Almond oil) and massage in the interested area. Or add a few drops in your bath water.
